UltraVNC Extremely Slow on Vista, Windows 7 and Server 2008

If you are experiencing extermely slow updates from UltraVNC when controlling Vista-class machines, either service or “Single-click” instances,  try selecting a non-Aero desktop theme – this will usually restore snappy response. See my post below for two quick ways to disable Aero temorarily

DNS Order wrong when connected to VPN using Windows 7
